Kimberly’s background spans over 20 years in multiple design specialities including residential, corporate, hospitality, multi-family, historic renovations and high end model homes. After earning her degree in Interior Design, she gained valuable experience at design firms in St. Louis before relocating to San Diego, CA. In California, she managed and collaborated with a team of designers to create award winning livable environments for homebuilders and their prospective homeowners. Upon moving back to St. Louis, she launched K Designs and has worked with clients on residential and commercial projects from simple consultations to full service design.
She has appeared on Great Day St. Louis, had projects published in St. Louis AT HOME magazine & taught design seminars at Pottery Barn. Kimberly has been involved in many local organizations and community campaigns including STLDesignWeek, IIDA and HavenHouse. Her insight into the design community led her to launch DesignSpeak as a way of elevating the design conversation in St. Louis. This multi-disciplinary collaboration forged industry partnerships that benefited local businesses during the recession. In addition, she served as President of the MO East Chapter of ASID leading the board to achieve their goal of advancing the profession of interior design amongst students and emerging designers.
